From 1994 to 1996, he conducted postdoctoral research at Naval Medical University in Shanghai.
In 1996, he was recruited to Cardiology Department at Shanghai First People's Hospital and later advanced to chief physician of Cardiology.
Appointed as Doctoral Supervisor at Shanghai Jiaotong University. He was responsible for the daily medical work of the Intensive Care Unit of the Cardiology Department of Shanghai First People's Hospital for 12 years, gaining rich experience in treating critical conditions including acute myocardial infarction, cardiogenic shock, and severe arrhythmia.
In June 2013, was recruited as Department Director and senior expert in the Cardiology Department at Pudong New Area Public Hospital.
Holds dual qualifications in internal medicine and general medicine, as well as certifications in coronary interventional diagnosis and treatment and pacemaker implantation. Over his 40-year career, has independently completed over 1,500 percutaneous coronary stenting procedures and more than 1,000 pacemaker implantations.
