The Oncology Department of Shanghai Yi Da Hospital is a comprehensive department which combines individualized therapy, medical chemotherapy, interventional minimally invasive therapy, molecular targeted therapy and traditional Chinese medicine tumor rehabilitation therapy. The department has established a specialized outpatient clinic for oncology and multidisciplinary consultation for oncology MDT.

Inpatient ward has three professional wards of medical oncology, tumor interventional therapy and palliative care, and has an experienced oncology care team.

Main diagnosis and treatment:

Malignant tumor diagnosis

Imaging diagnosis and endoscopy of systemic tumors; Histopathological diagnosis; Genetic testing.

Internal medicine comprehensive treatment of malignant tumor

Conventional chemotherapy: preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy for malignant tumors, postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy, chemotherapy for advanced metastatic tumors and maintenance chemotherapy.

Targeted therapy: targeted drug therapy for tumor cells and tumor vascular endothelial molecules.

Endocrine therapy: breast and prostate cancer.

Immunotherapy: Immunotherapy targeting PD-1 receptor or ligand, and CTLA-4.

Vascular intervention, non-vascular intervention.

Carry out PICC technology

Solved the problem of intravenous infusion for cancer chemotherapy patients. On the basis of PICC technology, domestic advanced intravenous infusion port implantation technology is carried out to make the infusion of cancer patients safer and more convenient.

Cancer pain treatment

The evaluation and treatment of cancer pain are carried out in accordance with the three-step drug administration method formulated by WHO. The effective analgesic treatment of refractory cancer pain is carried out by comprehensive application of drugs, intervention, analgesic pump and other means.

Nutritional supportive therapy

When the patient's diet is not available or insufficiently consumed, the necessary nutrients for the maintenance of the human body are supplemented or provided through enteral and extraintestinal routes.
