First Aid Camp: Empowering Int'l Students with Lifesaving Skills
Guided by the "Healthy China 2030" strategy, Shanghai Yida Hospital International Medical Center actively enhances public emergency response capabilities. On April 12, a First Aid Training Camp—focusing on the Heimlich Maneuver and CPR—was hosted at its International Medical Center (Building 1, 2F).

Expert-Led Learning Journey
The event attracted international students from multiple schools. Dr. Khelu, an experienced international physician, delivered an engaging theoretical session, simplifying complex first aid principles into digestible insights.

Following the lecture, participants engaged in hands-on practice. Dr. Khelu demonstrated critical techniques—from the precise application of the Heimlich Maneuver to the rhythm and depth of CPR compressions. Attendees practiced diligently, with a German parent remarking, "This expert-led yet accessible training is exactly what our international community needs!"
Behind-the-Scenes Insight:
Excellence in Global Healthcare
Post-training, participants toured Yida Hospital International Medical Center, Pediatrics Department, and Traditional Chinese Medicine Unit, witnessing firsthand its international-standard healthcare services.

A Gift of Knowledge and Care
To conclude, Dr. Khelu presented commemorative first aid kits—a tangible symbol of lifesaving knowledge and Yida’s commitment to community well-being.
